My 1 year-old does not like to eat porridge or rice but loves to eat bread.
Every day, he will eat bread with jam and peanut butter. I am now concerned whether he is getting enough nutrients.
Can anyone recommend any bread recipes that are nutritious for my son?

Your 1 year old is trying to eat by himself and wants to eat finger food which is very normal at this age and we should encourage it.
It is perfectly alright for him to have bread. May I suggest that we have more nourishing fillings for him. We could have cheese, chicken ham slices, tuna, egg sandwich or omelette (if he is not allergic to eggs). He could also dip the bread into beef or chicken sauces. Besides that, he can also have butter buns, cheese buns or raisin buns. Try to steer away from sweet or sugary food. He can also have pasta ( soft and cut into small pieces that he can pick up) soft rice, noodles and meehoon. Introduce cut-up small pieces of fruits and vegetables and your meal is balanced.
