I am much concern as my 8 months old baby refused to eat solid food i.e rice, cereal, baby biscuit , etc. I have tried several flavours of rice cereal, mashed potato, pumpkin, yam , etc but she won’t take them.
I worry that she will lack nutrients
Thanks for your advice.

Thank you for your question.
You didn’t mention about your baby’s health , so I will assume that she is well. If baby is generally alert and active and will only not eat the solid food that you mentioned, you may want to try baby finger food. “Baby finger food ” are food that are very soft but textured. Generally, these food include mashed up papaya, banana, soft cauliflower or broccoli, soft rice that you can use your finger to feed. Try letting baby explore and ‘feed” herself with these food while you try to also feed her with your fingers. Eating these food in front of your baby may also encourage her to eat with you.
Be patient. Give her time to experiment. The food must be soft and cut into bite size to avoid choking. Always supervise your child during meal times. Have fun…..
