My 2 years old boy has recently started blinking his eyes excessively, almost squeezing them shut.
His eyes aren’t red, he can see well, and active still. But the number of blink getting more frequent.
It has been 5 days so far.

Please advise what kind of treatment is needed.

Thanks.

Hi Helen

Eye blinking could likely be either an allergy if there is an associated itchiness or TICS - which is an involuntary movement of the eye lids.

Please see your paediatrician to ensure nothing else is occurring.
