My baby is now 23 days old but still jaundice and the doctor said he is having prolonged jaundice.
I was googling and found some advice that I should stop breastfeeding milk to cure the jaundice. Is that true?
So I need to start with the formula or continue with the breastfeeding ?

Congratulations on your newborn!
Prolonged jaundice in babies whom are exclusively breast fed is common.
It is important your doctor perform a clinical examination, ensure your baby’s stools are mustard yellow and growing well.
Often we can rule out a liver disorder by measuring his blood bilirubin levels (direct and indirect bilirubin level)
We do not recommend stopping breast feeding and including a formula.
Remember always that breast milk is best.
