Intan Gives The Thumbs Up For Dettol Products

Having two kids at home means staying hygienic is super important since kids are more easily exposed to germs. My son, Husayn loves playing outside the house and sometimes to my utter horror, he will simply roll his body all over the place without caring whether the surface is clean or not. As for my 11-month old baby Almira, she is really into crawling all around the house and it got me worried because I’m sure even though it is indoors, the floor surface is not 100% clean.
So what should a mom do in times like this?
I turn to Dettol of course!
I myself am a regular user of Dettol Hand Sanitizer. I always make sure I have one in my handbag especially when I go out with the kids. Sometimes when going shopping and I have to go the toilet, there is no soap at all. So instead of sulking, I feel pleased with myself because I didn’t forget to bring my Dettol Hand Sanitizer! Best of all, with Dettol Hand Sanitizer, you don’t even need water. I even use the hand sanitizer when I am at home before and after changing Almira’s diapers.
With Dettol, I have less to worry about germs and I love the multipurpose-use Dettol Antiseptic Liquid. I can use it to mop my floor so I can disinfect floors completely (a must if you have two growing kids around!). Husayn’s skin is quite sensitive and can easily get rashes if he sweats too much (he does sweat a lot actually since he can’t stay still even for a minute!) so I usually add a cup of Dettol Antiseptic Liquid into his bath water. I also use the Dettol Antiseptic Wash to wash my kids’ toys!
I never get out of the house without bringing along Dettol Hand Wipes. I put one in my car and another one in my bag. It is very handy especially when the kids and I have to endure the long journey back to our kampong or during our regular weekend shopping excursions. You know how it is going to be with kids around – sometimes food and drinks are spilled in the car, sometimes they are down with flu and their noses need to be constantly wiped, and in the case of my baby girl, sometimes her diapers need to be changed, and this is where the Dettol Hand Wipes come to the rescue! Everything can be wiped clean and best of all it kills 99.9% of germs anytime, anywhere!
Kids’ hand are usually more exposed to germs compared to adults since they’re just kids being kids of course! So having Dettol Hand Wash around is absolutely necessary to make sure their hands are always squeaky clean. Since Husayn is already 4 years old, I train him to wash his hands after using the toilet and after playing outdoors. I also placed the hand wash near the kitchen sink so the whole family can use it before and after meals to wash their hands.
All in all, I love Dettol and have been using their range of products since I was a kid myself. For me, family always comes first and I will not compromise especially when it comes to making sure my kids are healthy and free from illness.
