Motherhood Affirmations

by Mommy Lyna
Posted on 15 June 2011

Now with 3 kids in the house, it is enough to make me really tired. Tired, tired and tired again, LOL. My eldest son is still breastfeeding (athough I have always wanted to wean him off, he sneaks in to have his dose). My second one just had his new prosthesis and is still adapting to it. So I have to make sure he’s not falling or stumbling on anything. And the baby still needs my full attention especially when his brothers are around!

I started working with a feeling of “Gosh! Finally”. Actually, it was a big mistake to think that I would have my own time after going back to work. Tons of documents waited for me in the office to be reviewed and a list of chores at home to be done. And also the businesses that I am currently involved in on the side.

But then, motherhood is actually amusing -  thinking that I’m doing all these things for my beloved family. So I keep myself relaxed with motherhood affirmations.

“I am a super mother”

“I can do everything”

“I am loved”

“I radiate love, happiness and positive aura”

“I am adorable”

“My dreams always come true”

“I am a better person”

“I am getting wealthier and healthier each day”

“I am the number one”

Self- affirmation to me is as important as feeding ourselves with food, it is like fuel to keep me going.  There are no secrets, just keep on saying, telling and echoing positive words. Positive words make positive environment, thus leads to a very positive person.

So, how do you keep yourself motivated?  Mothers, please say affirmative words to yourself even if your children don’t say them.

You are the best mother ever!
