Dear Dr Sanjay
My 18 month old son fell from the coffee table (About 1.5 Metres high) this morning. He cried non stop and when we asked him where it hurts, he kept pointing to his throat. He fell from the side, (left shoulder and ribs down the floor). The side that hurts him is the right side. When we tried to carry him up from the baby high chair, he would cry to no end. Certain movements hurt him too.
Took him to the local child specialist but the doctor there couldn’t advise of anything. Could he possibly have a bone fracture or hurt his neck/ shoulder? Would love to fly back and see you for a session!
Thanks
Mother of KW.

Dear Esyii
In general, a fall of more than 4 feet can cause injuries such as fractures.
If you find limitation in movement on his right…preference to use his left when walking, carrying or less arm swing on right, then he will require an assessment or an X ray at the very least.
Hope that helps
