Hi,
I recently gave birth to a healthy 3.29kg baby girl through c-section on 5th Feb 2011. I wasn’t able to breasfeed her after the operation, but after a week of trying, I managed to breasfeed her and at the same time I also gave her formula milk(FM).
She passes yellow stools and at times, the stools has a dark green colour. What I would like to know is, is it normal for an infant to pass stools in that colour?
I am thinking of switching her FM to other brands but I am afraid it wouldn’t suit her. At the moment, she is passing stools twice a day. I noticed that there are a lot of brands available in the market. I haven’t had the time to look for one, I only managed to remember this brand as my sister was having this FM when she was born.
Which FM would you suggest is good for infant?
Thank you

Hi Rosliah,
Congrats on being a mum !
It ‘s a fairly common occurence for a baby to pass green stools, now and again -:) If baby is feeding well and thriving, colour of stools is not too important.
I would not bother to change milk brands if current FM suits him, and he is healthy .
