Dear Expert
My son is 1 Year Old today. I fed a hard boiled egg yolk (Method: Soft boil egg container) and mashed it in porridge to feed him. From the internet I read egg yolk is not in the allergen food category.
Almost immediately after feeding, noticeable signs were the rashes around the mouth area. He then vommited 2 times and had diarrhea 2 times.
Please let us know how soon should we feed him egg again.
Thank you.

Hi Mrs Lee ,
So sorry that your baby developed this reaction to egg yolk; you are quite right, it is more common for egg white to cause problems.
You can try to give egg yolk again, please make sure it is cooked, at age 18 months. However, if there is a family history of allergy, you may want to wait till 2 years of age before you do so.
Children usually outgrow their allergies eventually.
Good Luck !:)
