The common reasons for crying:

  1. Hunger
  2. A dirty diaper
  3. Needs sleep
  4. Wants to be held
  5. Tummy troubles (gas, colic, and more)
  6. Needs to burp
  7. Too cold or too hot
  8. Small comfortable issue
  9. Want less/more stimulation
  10. Not feeling well

Why is my baby crying 1

Tips for Parents:

  • Calm down!
  • Hugs & cuddles
  • Soothing rub / Infant massage
  • Close to your chest
  • Power of distraction
  • Sing, hum and coo

When to see doctor?

  • Crying continuously for more than three hours
  • Has flu-like symptoms
  • Generally unwell
  • Abdomen appears bloated
  • Passed out red-mucoid stool
